CrimeCraft – Initial Review

Megaten – Review
Aug 28th
A few days ago I checked out Megaten, a MMORPG from Aria which advertises with buzz words such as ‘post-apocalyptic Tokyo’ and ‘raise your own demons’. Well, there is a post-apocalyptic Tokyo and there are demons that you can befriend and train… but… everything looks like it’s been concepted for young teenagers.
Combine that with the usual Asia grindfest gameplay and the only thing that is left worth mentioning would be the almost-involving combat combo system that even a monkey could figure out. That’s it – not much more to say. Don’t you love short reviews?
Oh well, there we go – uninstalled and waiting for a Lovecraftian power-version of this… Maybe ‘The Secret World’ will be the one?
Rumor: The Old Republic to have player housing?
Aug 28th
Massively.com has caught a rumour about SWOTOR might having player-housing:
Player housing seems to be an oft requested feature for generally any MMO, but the last place we expected to hear rumors about it was for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Granted, this rumor stems from a BioWare employee at Gamescom being a little too tired and letting “housing” slip as one of the many features of the game. Of course, it’s also just as likely that said person was so tired they simply misspoke.
Champions Online – Life-time Subscriptions Back
Aug 28th
The lifetime subscriptions are back until the 31st of August:
Earlier this week, we gave notice that we were running out of special Lifetime and 6-month promotional subscriptions. Within a day, the rest of our supply had been sold out, leaving a number of you confused and upset. The response to this promotion has been overwhelming and we want to thank everyone who posted on our forums, called customer service and sent e-mails over these past few days.
Guides Section and Guild/Clan Forums
Aug 28th
I have added a new section for game guides to the site. The first guide is the Skills Overview for CrimeCraft.
I can also offer clan and guild subforums on TMO for interested parties. Just contact me – also if you want to publish your own guide on this site.
I hope you will like these new features.
